echo|echo is a multidisciplinary project led by Dominika Szelążek - musician, vocalist, cultural anthropologist and graphic designer based in Poznań, Poland.
"We explore various urban, political, incidental environments with our voices and movements creating improvised, site-specific performances, we gather to sing in abandoned places, wastelands, gentrified city zones, shedding light and re-discovering their forgotten meanings."
Presented publication features photographs from echo|echo group and solo performances and explores author's inspiration taken from anthropology of Anna L. Tsing, philosophy of Félix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze, deep listening practices of Pauline Oliveros and John Cage as well as from the world of fungi.
